(1) There will be a selection committee to recommend the appointment and promotion of teachers and staff of the institution (2) The selection committee shall have the following chairman and members:-
(a) from among the persons who have obtained at least a master's degree in health science and have worked in the health sector for ten years or have held responsibilities as a special category or professor - President
(b) One member from among the teachers (c) Registrar – Member – Secretary
(3) The assembly shall nominate the chairman and members as per clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (2).
(4) The term of office of the chairman and nominated members of the selection committee will be four years.
(5) Other work, duties and rights of the selection committee shall be as prescribed.
(6) The remuneration of the chairman of the selection committee, facilities and other conditions of service and the facilities of the members shall be as prescribed.
(7) The procedure for the selection committee meeting shall be as prescribed.
